Chair

This oak chair has been assembled from late 17th century parts. About half the timber, together with the tapestry seat, is late 19th or early 20th century. The result is, nevertheless, a careful copy of a Restoration period chair.

Oak chair with a high carved back, a tapestry upholstered seat, rectangular back legs, and spiral front legs, 1870 - 1940
