Padlock, hasp & key

A hasp is a metal fastening consisting of a hinged strap with a slot that fits over a staple and is secured by a pin, bolt or padlock. This padlock, hasp and key come from Boggach at Strathdon in Aberdeenshire. They date from the 18th century.
