Candlestick

This small candlestick was found at the site of the castle in Alterwall Loch in Caithness. It dates from the 15th century or later and is made of latten - thin sheets of a metal or alloy.

The candlestick has a straight stem with an ornamental knob in the middle, a shallow inverted trumpet base, and a vertical socket with no drip pan.
