This wall pocket was made by Peter Gardner's Dunmore Pottery in Falkirk district.

The wall pocket has a crab on the top.

Peter Gardner took over his father's small redware pottery in 1860 and immediately began to develop new ranges of fashionable wares. The pottery was supported by the local landowners the Earl and Countess of Dunmore.
