The book was published in London in 1833. Shakespeare's plays in one volume, carried by John Rae through the Arctic from 1846: English, London, 1833 Dr John Rae was one of many Scots who explored the Arctic. He is particularly remembered for his role in the search for Sir John Franklin's missing team, as well as unique polar survey and exploration work.
