Plate commemorating the Industrial Exhibition, Glasgow

This redware plate commemorates the 1886-87 Industrial Exhibition held in Glasgow. The plate was made by Peter Gardner's Dunmore Pottery in Falkirk district.

The plate has a central moulded medallion depicting the Glasgow City Arms and inscribed 'INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION GLASGOW 1886-87'.
