Medal (Obverse), of Edinburgh Skating Club

This is the obverse of a silver medal of the Edinburgh Skating Club. The medal, for a J.B. Harvey, dates from 1871. It was designed by Lizars of Edinburgh.

The obverse has the inscription 'EDINBURGH SKATING CLUB' surrounded by laurels. Around the outside is the inscription: 'THEIR R H THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF WALES PATRON AND PATRONESS'.
