Sporran

This leather sporran is a modern piece, carefully made to represent the traditional old style.

The brass top of the sporran - the 'cantle' - is decorated with traditional 'cup and ring' markings. It has a 'ball finial' - a finger-operated catch for opening. The sporran's single leather tassel evokes the drawstring of a medieval purse.
