Cigar lighter

This cigar lighter is in the form of an Aladdin type oil lamp. Made of metal, it dates from the early 19th century.

The body is urn-shaped, with a simple moulded foot and a looped handle The wick would have protruded from the spout. The monogram 'EMS' is engraved on this side.
