This brass cooking pot was found in the River Forth near Cambuskenneth in Stirlingshire. It was either made in Scotland or, like many, imported from the Continent. It dates from between the 13th and 15th century.

The pot is a typical medieval cooking pot. It has a globular body, an out-turned rim with two handles, and is supported on three short legs.
