Lighter & match holder

This automatic lighter and match-holder, combined in a steel case, was made in France in the early 20th century.

One edge of the case slides back to enable it to be filled with matches. The face pictured is engraved 'LA MAGICIENNE / A.F. /BREVETE S.G.D.C.'
