Oil lamp

This hanging oil lamp dates from the 19th century. It is made of tin.

The lamp consists of two round cylindrical vessels, one inside the other. The top vessel is the fuel reservoir, with a spout for the wick. The lower vessel is the drip pan with a trough mounted below the spout of the upper vessel.
