Oil lamp

This hanging oil lamp comes from Aberdeenshire. Made of tin, it dates from the 19th century.

The lamp consists of two cylindrical vessels, one inside the other. There are three spouts, a thin wire handle riveted to the side, and no lid. The body has been painted red.
