Fan

Folding fan with Brussels lace leaf and carved and pierced mother of pearl sticks.

Leaf has a central medallion and two side medallions in needle lace, the rest is bobbin lace motifs joined together. The sticks and guards are carved with a floral motif.

Probably part of a bride's trousseau in 1891. The box it now sits in is probably a replacement (see A.1996.374 B)
