Fan

Folding fan with single leaf of stiffened silk, ivory sticks and guards painted with silver.

Narrow leaf painted with burning hearts on an altar, vignettes of musical instruments and swags of flowers, enlivened by spangles and gold paint. The sticks and guards painted with gold floral designs.

Burning hearts probably indicate that this is a marriage fan.
