Fan

Folding fan with a single leaf of fine kid mounted a l'Anglaise, carved, pierced and painted ivory sticks and guards.

Painted with a rural scene of five shepherdesses each holding a houlette, with chinoiserie designs round the edge. Guards carved as a vine round a tree, the sticks painted with lady birds, flowers and people.
