This hand-coloured fashion plate is from La Revue de la Mode, a fashion magazine published in Paris. The plate illustrates a wedding dress and two day dresses. It is dated 17 November, 1906.
The plate contains, in the bottom right hand corner, a sketch of the dresses viewed from the back, with the number '4540' below.
La Revue de la Mode first appeared in 1872. It was one of the more notable fashion magazines brought out in the last quarter of the 19th century and continued in publication until 1888.
