The dress on the left has an elaborate train, trimmed with lace. The outfits are from, 'Mme FLADRY, 43. rue Richer'.
La Mode Illustreé first appeared in 1860 and was one of the most important fashion magazines of the second half of the nineteenth century. It was published every Sunday and had a circulation of approximately 20,000.
