Silver sugar basin made in India, 1896 - 1906This sugar basin is part of a silver tea service made in India between around 1896 and 1906. The tea service was given to the Reverend Robert Dewar in 1906 on his retirement from a United Free Church in Calcutta. The sugar basin is elaborately decorated with friezes of Hindu deities.
