Medal (Reverse), commemorating the death of David Livingstone

This is the reverse of a bronze medal commemorating the death of David Livingstone in 1873.

The reverse depicts an altar with six figures standing and seated before it.

David Livingstone (1813-73) finally lost his life in Africa while on expedition. When his body was returned to Britain, it was given a hero's welcome and state funeral at Westminster.
