Bronze mouthpiece for a horn

This bronze mouthpiece was part of a type of horn instrument. It was used perhaps in hunting or warfare, sometime between 200 BC and 100 AD.

The mouthpiece expands at one end. There is a loop at one side.

Music was a part of both warfare and hunting even at an early time.
