Arrowhead

This flint arrowhead was found in Aberdeenshire. It dates from between 3800 and 2500 BC. Arrowheads of this nature could have been used as weapons or for hunting.

The arrowhead is leaf shaped, a type common throughout Britain in the Neolithic period.
