Queen's medal (obverse)

This is the obverse of a medal, known as the Queen's medal, awarded to Sergeant H. Wilson of the Scottish Horse. The medal was given for service in the Cape Colony of the Orange Free State and in the Transvaal from 1901 to 1902.

The obverse has a bust of Queen Victoria.
