Mantle clock of brass and enamel

This brass and enamel mantle clock was made around 1900 by Marion Henderson Wilson. It is typical of the flowing linear Glasgow style of design.

The brass clock face is inset with black enamel.

Marion Henderson Wilson (1869-1956), studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1884 to 1896 and excelled in the production of strikingly crafted metalwork.
