Whisky flask, made in Aberdeen
Add to album

This whisky flask was made in the late 19th century at Seaton Pottery in Aberdeen. This type of flask was said to have been used by harvesters to carry whisky.

The flask is made of 'agate ware' - two different colours of clay mixed together to give a marbled effect.

Seaton Pottery operated between 1868 and 1964 and left a wealth of distinctive wares.
