Spoon

This silver tablespoon, dating from 1704-5, was made by John Seatoun of Edinburgh.

The design of the spoon stem is known as 'wavy end'.

By the beginning of the 18th century, spoons were being made in a variety of styles and sizes and became important additions to household silverware.
