Amputation set

This incomplete amputation set dates from around 1830 and was used by Dr David Hutchison, a general practitioner in Musselburgh in East Lothian from 1950 to 1984.

The set includes a saw, two knives by Evans of London and a knife by Alexander Still of Edinburgh.
