From North West Scotland
This richly-decorated powder-horn, made from a cow's horn, dates from 1694. It probably comes from the north-west of Scotland.
The inner edge of the horn is inscribed with the words 'Seck Me Not I Pray The My Mester Vil Deney The Eat Les And Booy' [Seek me not I pray thee, eat less and buy one].
