Framed panel of carved oak

This is one of five framed oak panels, carved with scriptural subjects, from Lanfine House at Sornhill in Ayrshire. The panels are Dutch and date from the 16th century.

The panel depicts manna raining from heaven. The scene appears in the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament.
