Wooden plate owned by the Earl of Hopetoun

This shallow plate of sycamore wood probably dates from the 18th century. It belonged to the Earl of Hopetoun.

A segment has been intentionally removed and on the rim, opposite the missing segment, an 'H', surmounted by an earl's coronet has been impressed.
