A modern, competition-style strathspey and reel, played by the Campbeltown-born piper William McCallum. Tunes of this type have many similarities to early dance tunes, but tend to be played more slowly, and feature more elaborate gracenoting.

The tunes are Dora MacLeod, composed by Peter MacLeod from Glasgow, and John McKechnie's Big Reel, which is a 20th century adaptation, in six parts, of an 18th Century dance tune. [See Sound Asset.6]
