Lithograph of H.M.S. Repulse, World War I

Signed proof lithograph entitled 'A Gun Turret of HMS Repulse, Firth of Forth, March 1917', by Muirhead Bone.

The artist was the the first official British war artist, appointed in 1916. His depictions of wartime people and places were published monthly in 'Country Life'.

Sir David Muirhead Bone was born in Partick, Glasgow, in 1876 and died in 1953.
