The card shows a cartoon Christmas scene with camels, a desert rat symbol, a tank and a soldier kneeling beside a shell covered in snow and holly, with another soldier saying 'I don't care if it is Christmas - it's a shell not a yule log'.

Inside the card reads 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, 40th Field Regiment Royal Artillery The Lowland Gunners'.
