This oak bed was probably designed by Sir Robert Lorimer, who also worked as an architect.
The oak headboard is carved with angels and decorated in a style called 'linen fold'.
Sir Robert Lorimer, 1864-1929, was an architect who also became interested in furniture design. He was interested in making furniture that was simple in shape with beautiful woods and obvious construction methods.
