Necklace designed by Jessie M. King

This silver and enamel pendant necklace and chain, dating from 1905, was designed by Jessie M. King. Made for Liberty & Co, its design is in the Liberty Pattern Book, no 8809.

The bluish green enamel pendant is decorated with a series of small silver flowers.

Jessie Marion King, 1875-1949, was a prolific and successful 'Glasgow Style' designer, producing jewellery for Liberty and Co.'s Cymric line, in addition to wallpaper, fabrics, posters and bookplates.
