This silver and enamel buckle was designed by Jessie M. King for Liberty & Co, and made in Birmingham in 1905-6.

The two-piece buckle is pierced with a design of stylised flowers.

Jessie Marion King, 1875-1949, was a prolific and successful 'Glasgow Style' designer, producing jewellery for Liberty and Co.'s Cymric line, in addition to wallpaper, fabrics, posters and bookplates.
