A crusie is a form of oil lamp. This tin example was made by in Sicily in 1903.
The crusie is made of two pieces of beaten tin soldered together at right angles, with a narrow strip to form the wall of the lower pan. The wall of upper pan has a narrow spout and a clip at the back by which it is attached to the back of the lamp.
