From Adabrock, Lewis, Outer Hebrides
This bronze spearhead was found at Adabrock on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides in a hoard of tools, weapons, vessel fragments and beads. The hoard was buried between 950 and 750, almost certainly a gift to the gods.

Bronze-tipped spears were part of the equipment of the Late Bronze Age elite warrior. Like the other items in the Adabrock hoard, the spearhead would have been a valuable and prestigious possession.
