Cotton T-shirt worn in the Gulf WarThe T-shirt was worn by members of the Royal Air Force Mobile Catering Support Unit, who called their canteen the "SCUD Dodgers' Bistro". The SCUD was a long-range surface-to-ground (or surface-to-surface) missile, favoured by the Iraqis during the conflict. Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, was one of the locations that was hit by the missiles. The T-shirt was acquired by Colonel S.W. Crawford during his service as a Staff Officer in the Gulf War, 1990 - 1991. Record detailsTo search on related items, click any linked text below.
