Fashion plate, from Der BazarThis hand-coloured fashion plate is from Der Bazar, an illustrated ladies' magazine published in Berlin. This plate illustrates six fancy dress costumes and is dated January, 1894. It is signed with the initials, 'B.S' and the monogram, 'HGB'. The figure in the top centre is wearing an Egyptian costume. The one on the bottom left is carrying a rake and has a small scythe attached to her hat.
