Christening mug made in Glasgow, 1876-77
This silver christening mug was made in 1876-7 by D. C. Rait, a silversmith in Glasgow.
The straight-sided mug is engraved with animals in relief. The animals featured are a sheep, a camel, a goat, an elephant, a lion, a dog and a pig.
