Coin die, for Charles II bawbees (Reverse)This iron coin die is for striking the reverse of Charles II copper bawbees. It was made at the Scottish Mint in Edinburgh between 1660 and 1685. The die has a crowned thistle. The inscription reads 'Nemo Me Impune Lacesset' (No-one shall hurt me with impunity).
