Coin (reverse), crown, from reign of James VThis is the reverse of a gold crown minted at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh between 1526 and 1539, during the reign of James V. The coin was worth 20 shillings Scots. The reverse has a cross fleury with thistles in the angles. The Latin inscription translates as: 'Let us follow the arms of the Cross'.
