This is the underside of a maiolica dish made in Rome in Italy in 1871 and painted by Torquato Castellani.

The underside of the dish is inscribed 'Fatta in bottega Castellani a di Feb 1871' ('made in the Castellani workshop in February 1871) and monogrammed 'TC'.
