The tumbler and jug are made of clear colourless glass moulded with panels of 'frosted ice' pattern. The design is called 'Kalinka'.

The Finnish glass industry has employed some of the most distinguished artists of the last three decades. Timo Sarpaneva, born 1926, trained in graphics and has worked with the Iittala Glassworks since 1950. His other interests include the design of textiles, ceramics and even candles.
