Playing pieceThis small stone playing piece was found at the Viking settlement site of Jarlshof in Shetland. It dates from between 800 and 1200. Conical playing piece of travertine, from Jarlshof Viking gaming pieces of bone, amber, glass or stone have been found both in settlements and burials.
