CupThis small pottery cup was found at Eilean Domhnuill at Loch Olabhat, on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. It dates from between 3400 and 2900 BC and was probably a simple drinking cup. The simple hemispherical cup was made by pinching up a single piece of clay. Below the rim, it is decorated with an irregular line of jabs, which fail to meet up.
