CupThis sandstone cup was found in a broch at Bowermadden in Caithness. It is an example of a simple vessel made from locally available materials sometime between 200 BC and 200 AD. Oval cup of red sandstone, found in a broch at Bowermadden, Caithness, 200 BC - 200 AD Brochs were generally made of two concentric dry stone walls which had stairs within them leading to galleries at upper levels.
