A quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking vessel. This is a detail of a large pewter quaich dating from the late 18th century. The detail shows the inscription 'AA. DUNFERMLINE', made by a former owner on one of the vessel's side handles.

Quaichs are usually made of wood or silver; pewter quaichs are rare.
