From Licklyhead, Premnay, Aberdeenshire
This bronze spearhead was found at Licklyhead at Premnay in Aberdeenshire. It dates from between 1500 and 1200 BC.
The spearhead has a midrib on each face of the blade and loops on the socket.
Warriors had a major social role in their society and displayed their status through fancy weapons.
